I even signed it! Then ran around taking a lot of pictures in different light from different angles, trying to get an image that had no glare. Finally found a good spot facing north and upside down (the painting, not me).

So this is the first in a series of mixed media on panel paintings that I have in the works. The mixed media  aspect involves watercolor on mulberry paper, collage of hand-painted elements and encaustic. "Starry" is about 16" x 32".
