Peter van Dyck is the most energetic and resourceful teacher of painting, with a stream of consciousness approach backed up with complete knowledge of all technical issues. Peter is an amazing artist as well, see link on "artists and sites of interest" page. He lives and teaches in Pennsylvania and only comes to Seattle for these week-long workshops once every few years.

 Cindy and I met Kaoru on Monday at an artist networking evening put on by the Seattle office of arts and culture. Mulling overt plans for a collaboration! To go along with the Seattle Art Museum's upcoming exhibit, a video of Ethiopian children of the Omo group with some very beautiful face and body paint and plant material used to make themselves a work of art   Okay there was supposed to be a drawing pop-up here in Occidental Square but no one here except me drawing. But such a lovely evening and I love this spot! video for the new Seattle Art Museum show "Disguise" that adds the music that makes you want to check it out
